Wow, I swear that 48 hours gets shorter every week! Of course the fact that we were on the run non-stop probably had something to do with that. On Saturday Kendal was supposed to have practice at 7:00 but because of the rain & hail Friday night the field was a mess and practice was postponed until 3:00 in the afternoon. Kendal went to Courtney's installation before practice and cleaned his room in the morning.
Alex & Tracey left for Cheyenne at 6:30 and spent the day at the auction and did they ever have fun. While they only spent $50 they came home with enough stuff to irritate me and then made the mistake of telling me they let a HUGE paper cutter sell for $7 and they didn't even bid on it.
I was able to get the laundry done and even slept in until 8:30 on Saturday morning.
Sunday was a busy day. We went in and had breakfast at 8:30 and then Tracey, Alex & I went to church. Kendal had a double-header and so he needed to be at the fields 1/2 hour before church even started. As soon as church was over we headed to the fields. Kendal played the entire 1st game which they won 12-2 in 6 innings. Unfortunately they lost the 2nd game 20-3, Kendal however didn't play any of that game. As soon as the games were over it was time for youth group, and Tracey & I grabbed a quick bite to eat since the boys eat at youth group. Alex then had his induction ceremony for Nathan Hale, and we were finally home at 8:40, a short 12 hours & 10 minutes after we left.
Kendal had weights & skeletans for football starting at 6:30 and Alex had Jr Golf at 10:00. Kendal is working for Courtney's dad this week, they are remodeling and there is a TON of dirt to be moved and bricks to be laid down so Kendal is earning some money. Kendal & the rest of the baseball team leave for the College World Series Tourney on Thurs am. Tracey was able to get Friday off work and he is going to watch, I think he may even take Alex with him this year, that has yet to be determined though as it will cut into his buddy time with Eric & Uncle Jeff.
